2.日本人の新しい仕事

日本人には、「MONO NO AWAREをしる」という美意識がある。

人間の心の情景を「自然の一部へと溶け込ませてゆく」美意識だと僕は思っている。

日本人が背負っている「突然襲う地震や火山の災禍の宿命」は、「命への鎮魂と祈り」を僕たちの心の深層に寝ずかせてきた。

「四季の変化」は「美しきものが消え又美しきものへと変幻する」様を毎年死ぬまで見せてくれる。

海に囲まれた列島の息吹から養われたきた僕たちの「美意識」は、縄文（15000年）以来の「日本人の心の骨格を作ってきた」と思う。

その過程で、僕たちの美意識をより鋭く深めるために、日本人は、あえて「言語から主語を省く文化」を創り出したと確信する。

近年の地球規模になった生活と列島以外の文化の流入は、美意識を破壊し、日本人が何者かわからなくしている。僕たちは、今、流れの中で立ち尽くしてしまっている。

僕は死期近い病身故に、日本人に、世界基準を超える人間づくり「逆転の戦略」を話したいと思っている。

西欧人等（主語あり言語を話す人たち）には到達できないより高次の世界観を獲得できるのは「日本人」だけだと思っている。

創造主は「このために日本人を野球に例えれば9回裏までウエイティング」させていたのだと僕は確信している。

The Japanese have an aesthetic sense of “knowing MONO NO AWARE”.
I believe that it is an aesthetic sense that “melts the scene of the human heart into a part of nature.”
The “destiny of sudden earthquakes and volcanic disasters” that the Japanese people bear on their backs has laid down “requiems and prayers for life” in the depths of our hearts.
“The change of the four seasons” shows us how “beautiful things disappear and transform into beautiful things” every year until we die.
I believe that our “aesthetic sense” nurtured from the breath of the archipelago surrounded by the sea has “created the skeleton of the Japanese mind” since the Jomon period (15000).

In the process, I believe that the Japanese dared to create a “culture in which the subject is omitted from the language” in order to sharpen and deepen our sense of beauty.

The recent globalization of life and the influx of cultures outside the archipelago have destroyed the sense of beauty and made it difficult to identify who the Japanese are.
We are now stuck in the flow.

Because I am close to death, I would like to talk to Japanese people about the “reversal strategy” for human development that exceeds world standards.

I think that only “Japanese” can acquire a higher worldview that Westerners (people who speak subject languages) cannot reach.

I am convinced that the Creator made the Japanese wait until the bottom of the 9th inning, if we compare it to baseball.

2017年6月14日（現地時間）、故ジョン・レノンの楽曲「イマジン」が全米音楽出版社協会（National Music Publishers Association、NMPA）により“世紀の歌”として表彰され、妻で芸術家のオノ・ヨーコが共作者としてクレジットされることが発表された。　発表の後、オノがクレジットされるべきだと発言しているジョン・レノン本人によるBBCのインタビューが流れた。「実はあれはレノン/オノと表記されるべきだった。歌詞やコンセプトの大部分はヨーコから来ていたからだ。あの頃の自分は今よりちょっと自己中心的で、ちょっと男らしさを履き違えてたから、彼女の貢献についてあえて言及しなかった。でも彼女の本、『グレープフルーツ』からまるまる着想を得ていた。“Imagine this”（これを想像してごらん）、“Imagine that”（あれを想像してごらん）って至る所に出てくるからね」と彼は妻の貢献を認めている。
